Diode Laser Driver ATLS200MA103

ATLS200MA103 is a laser driver in 103 laser driver series, with the maximum low noise output current of 200mA. The noise is ultra low, ≤2.5µVP-P at 0.1Hz to 10Hz.
When this laser driver is powered by a 5V power supply, it will output a voltage range from 1.5V to 4V. The output current of this laser driver can be set by an input voltage linearly or modulated by an external signal of up to 2MHz in bandwidth, which results in a minimum 1μS rise and fall time at the output current. There is a low noise 2.5V reference voltage that is used for setting the output current. This reference can also be used as the voltage reference for external ADCs and/or DACs. 
Two packaging versions are available, DIP package and SMT package. The former can be evaluated by an evaluation boardATLS1A103DEV1.0, which comes with a dummy laser on the board.

Diode Laser Driver ATLS100MA103

Diode laser driver is designed for driving diode lasers. ATLS100MA103 is a low noise laser driver, which is a part of 103 laser driver series. This laser driver outputs a maximum current of 100mA with low noise. There are more current options in this series, such as 200mA, 250mA, 500mA and 1A, and the corresponding products are ATLS200MA103, ATLS250MA103, ATLS500MA103, and ATLS1A103.  
The output noise is as low as ≤1.5µVP-P @0.1Hz to 10Hz. There is a high absolute accuracy, <0.1%. The power supply voltage ranges from 3.3V to 5.5V. Moreover, there is a wide operating case temperature, from −40 ~ 85°C. There is a over temperature protection circuit inside the laser driver. When the temperature exceeds 120°C, the laser driver will shut down automatically by itself in order to prevent from being damaged by over heat. When this happens, it usually takes a few or tens of seconds for the laser driver to cool down before restart.

High Voltage Laser Diode Driver ATLS8A214D

Diode laser driver is designed for driving diode lasers. ATLS100MA103 is a low noise laser driver, which is a part of 103 laser driver series. This laser driver outputs a maximum current of 100mA with low noise. High Voltage Laser Diode Driver ATLS8A214D

ATLS8A214D is an electronic module that is used for driving one or more high voltage diode lasers at the same time. This laser driver belongs to 214 series high voltage laser driver, and it has the maximum output current in this series, 8A. In this series, the other two laser driver is ATLS4A214D and ATLS6A214D.
The input voltage of this laser driver is the same as other laser drivers in this series, from 5V to 14V. The output ripple voltage is as low as < 4mV@500 kHz. The current stability is as high as < ±600μA@8A &-20°C~80°C. The efficiency is higher than 92%, so there is no need for any heat sinks. 
This laser driver comes with a compact size, 27.4×21×5.7 (mm), and has a six sided metal case outside the inner components, which blocks the incoming and outgoing Electro-Magnet Interferences.

Super SMD/SMT Component Enclosure

Sorting, storing and finding a SMD (Surface Mount Device) - sometimes called SMT (Surface Mount Technology), components is not easy, this is because they are so tiny and there are so many kinds of them: different sizes, values, types, etc. There is a good news: a special enclosure has been developed and made available by Analog Technologies, Inc., for solving this problem. The product is called Super SMD/SMT Component Enclosure. It is a big box with a big cover, underneath, there are 128 compartments, each of them has a dedicated lid; each lid has a small handle for opening and closing the lid and, under the handle, there is a legend area for marking the values of the parts inside. The lid is locked into its position so that the small SMD/SMT parts won't be leaked out, see photo below. 
After using, close all the small lids and the big cover which has resilient foam pad. When the big cover closes, this foam (shown in yellow) pad presses all the small lids downward so that they remain locked even under severe shocking and vibration, see the drawing:
Therefore, this enclosure is not only being a convenient solution for storing and sorting small parts, but also a reliable means for transporting them. High Voltage Laser Diode Driver ATLS6A214D

ATLS6A214D is a high voltage laser diode driver with wide input voltage range and high output current. This laser driver is one of 214 series laser diode drivers, which can drive high voltage laser driver or multiple laser drivers at the same time. This laser driver outputs up to 6A current, which is different with other laser drivers in this series, such as ATLS4A214D andATLS8A214D. All the laser drivers in this series come with the same power supply range, from 5V to 14V.
The efficiency of this laser driver is as high as 90%, and due to this high efficiency, it  only generates small amount of heat, so heat sinks are not needed for normal use. New Peltier Controller TECA1-xV-xV-DAH

  TECA1-xV-xV-DAH is a new peltier controller released by our company. Peltier controllers is widely used in regulating the object temperature by driving peltier modules (TEC modules) with high stability, high efficiency, high energy efficiency, zero EMI, and a compact package.
  TECA1-xV-xV-DAH is an improved version of TECA1-xV-xV-D. TECA1-xV-xV-DAH has a higher accuracy than TECA1-xV-xV-D, please refer to the table below.

Thus, it’s easily seen that the TECA1-xV-xV-DAHperforms better than TECA1-xV-xV-D.
  In the part number TECA1-xV-xV-DAH, the1st x indicates the power supply voltage, and it can be 3.3V or 5V; the 2nd x stands for the maximumoutput voltage across TEC, e.g. TECA1H-5V-5V-D. The above two specifications can be specified by the customers.

High Output Current Laser Driver ATLS4A214D

ATLS4A214D is the diode laser driver in the high output current and input voltage laser driver 214 series, which are designed to drive one or more diode lasers simultaneously with up to 4A well controlled output current at high efficiency of 90%. High efficiency makes the laser driver generate small amount of heat, which needs no heat sinks during normal operation. In this series, there are other two laser drivers, i.e. ATLS6A214D and ATLS8A214D. These two laser drivers come with different maximum output currents, 6A and 8A respectively.
The input voltage ranges from 5V to 14V. There are dual independent current set ports, which are digitally controlled to switch between them for setting the output current. This feature allows users to modulate the laser digitally with two preset current values. Dedicated ports are used to monitor actual laser current and laser driver temperature. When the laser driver temperature exceeds 120°C, the laser driver will shut down the output stage by itself.

High Voltage Laser Driver ATLS3A212D

ATLS3A212D is the one in high voltage laser driver series, with the largest maximum output current, 3A. Same to other high voltage laser drivers in this series, the input (power supply) voltage range is from 4.5V to 16V. When powered by a 15V supply, this laser driver can output a maximum voltage of 14V. There are more options for maximum output current, i.e.ATLS500mA212DATLS1A212D, and ATLS2A212D
This high voltage diode laser driver is designed to meet the urgent requirements for driving high voltage diode laser or multiple diode lasers simultaneously. High Voltage Diode Laser Driver ATLS2A212D

Among 212 series of high voltage diode laser drivers, ATLS2A212D comes with a maximum 2A output current and power supply voltage range of 4.5V to 16V. We also provides laser drivers with different maximum output currents, such asATLS500mA212DATLS1A212D, and ATLS3A212D. The power supply voltage range of them remains the same.

Diode Laser Driver ATLS1A212D

Laser driver ATLS1A212D is designed for driving high voltage diode laser or multiple diode lasers simultaneously. It is a typical one in high voltage laser driver series. In this series, there are three other high voltage laser drivers including  ATLS500mA212DATLS2A212D, and ATLS3A212D. The main difference lies in the maximum current. As the part number indicates, ATLS1A212D comes with a 1A maximum output current, and the other three laser drivers come with 500mA, 2A and 3A respectively. 
This laser driver has a wide input and output voltage range, high efficiency, low output noise, wide modulation bandwidth as well as compact size. There are two packages available, DIP and SMT. There are three states, operation, standby and shutdown. When the laser driver enters standby mode, all the components in the high voltage laser driver work except output stage. Reduce Risk of Burning Electronic Equipments with NTC Thermistors

Thermistors are temperature- sensing elements. They are made up of semiconductor material and are largely used in electrical parts and electronic items. Diode laser driver ATLS500mA212D is one of high voltage constant current laser driver series. This series laser drivers are designed for driving high voltage diode laser or multiple diode lasers at the same time.   
ATLS500mA212D laser driver comes with a maximum output current of 500mA. The power supply voltage ranges from 4.5V to 16V. The efficiency is up to 80%, higher than other high voltage laser drivers in the market. Evaluation Board of Laser Driver: ATLSXA212D

The laser driverseriesATLSXA212D comes with high efficiency, constant current, wide input and output voltage range, high output current capability, low output noise, wide modulation bandwidth, and compact size. It’s designed for driving one or multiple laser diode arrays. This laser driver series includes ATLS1A212D, ATLS2A212D and ATLS3A212D. 
This laser driver series can be evaluated by its evaluation board, ATLS212EV1.0. It is designed for evaluating DIP package laser drivers conveniently. 
The evaluating board ATLS212EV1.0comes with some excellent features. There are some solder pads on the four edges of the board for all the interface ports of the laser driver. There is an LED in the upper middle part of the board in order to indicate if the controller works properly. There is a terminal block on the left side of the board, which is used for connecting wires going into the ports of the laser driver. The output current can be measured by anammeter, which can be inserted between the 2 multi-meter lead sockets: AMMTR+ and AMMTR, located on the lower edge of the board. 
Moreover, it is highly recommend to use this evaluation board with the dummy load diode assemblyto emulate one or multiple laserdiodes.

Load Assembly for Laser Drivers ATLS212DLD1.0

ATI developed and released a series of high voltage constant current laser drivers including ATLS1A212DATLS2A212D andATLS3A212D, which can drive high voltage diode lasers or driving a serial of diode lasers simultaneously with high efficiency and low noise, and without heat sinks. 
ATLS212DLD1.0 is a load assembly, which is designed for emulating one or multiple laser diodes to evaluate a series of high voltage laser drivers mentioned above. This load assembly can also be used with the laser driver evaluation board ATLS212EV.Real laser diodes are expensive but vulnerable, so there is a need for dummy lasers, which use regular durable diodes. The maximum current is up to 100A for a short time, the maximum reverse voltage is 100V for each diode. This makes the load assembly almost unbreakable, which help avoid damages for users when they use the laser drivers for the first time and make some mistakes.

High Voltage Laser Driver ATLSXA214

Laser driver with high output voltage is capable of driving one or more laser diodes simultaneously. The input voltage can be 5V to 16V, and the output voltage is from 0V to 15V. The laser driver generates ultra low output current noise : < 12µA@0.1Hz~10Hz, with high current stability <±600µA@4A &-20°C~80°C.  
Though this laser driver comes with high efficiency >92%, it doesn't need heat sink to dissipate heat, a small amount of heat.
The laser driver will shut down by itself when the temperature exceeds the temperature limit 120°C. Under shutdown mode, all the parts will stop working, while the input current is reduced to < 3µA. A loop good indication output is used to tell users if this laser driver is working well.
A high modulation speed can be achieved due to the output stage. There is an over current protection circuit in this laser driver, which prevents the laser driver from being damaged by over current. There is also a soft start circuit which allows the laser driver to increase its output current slowly during start up process and shut down the current quickly.

LDA1-CP2 Laser Driver with Dual Modes

LDA1-CP2 laser driver is an electronic module with dual modes, which is used to drive N type laser diodes. This laser driver has PWM output stage and the efficiency is up to 90%, so there is no need of heat sinks for normal operation. AC Input Laser Driver AAS30A5V1

AC input laser driver usually comes with a larger size than DC input laser driver. AAS30A5V1 is one of our AC input laser drivers which are used for driving diode lasers with high current and high stability, such as fiber lasers, diode laser bars. 
The AC input laser driver AAS30A5V1 has high efficiency, up to 76%. The input voltage is wide, from 88VAC to 264VAC, with a wide output voltage from 0V to 5V. The high speed digital modulation is 5 kHz. There are configurable output current and voltage limit, as well as digital modulation valley current. There is also an over temperature protection circuit inside the laser driver. The operating temperature is from -20 to 50°C.

Constant Current CW Laser DriverATLS500MA202D

ATLS500MA202D laser driver is an electric module with up to 500MA constant current. It can be used to drive laser diodes with low noise and high efficiency. As shown in Figure, this laser driver has a compact size and provides DIP package for users. By using the laser driver, many functions can be realized, such as, laser constant current control, laser current monitoring, over current and thermal protection, switching frequency synchronization and so on.

ATLS500MA202D laser driver comes with the frequency synchronization function, which allows using an external digital signal to synchronize the internal PWM   output stage. When using multiple laser drivers on the same PCB, it can eliminate frequency beating interferences from other electronics.

Selection of Laser Drivers

ATI is a company specializing in designing and releasing laser drivers, which can be used to driver laser diodes with high stability, low noise, and high power efficiency.  And there are many kinds of laser drivers. If you use laser diodes with high power or current, you can select the dual mode laser driver; if you need a laser driver with low noise, you can choose the ultra-low noise laser driver. In addition, when laser drivers and TEC controllers are used together, you can obtain high performance low cost diode laser modules. Figure 1 is the typical one of the dual mode laser drivers.

The LDA1-CP1 laser driver has a maximum output current 2A and current output noise: 0.05%. During normal operation, it generates little amount of heat, so there is no need of heat sinks. This laser driver comes with two separate input voltages to set and monitor the output current and laser power.

ATLS2A202D Laser Driver for Driving Laser Diodes

With the development of science and technology, laser drivers have been used more and more widely. And the demand of laser drivers is also growing. In order to meet the demand, our company (ATI) has designed and released many kinds of laser drivers with high quality and compact size. As shown in Figure 1, the ATLS2A202D laser driver is a typical one of our laser drivers with a maximum output current 2A

During operation, this laser driver has high efficiency (more than 90%), high stability (100ppm/°C) and zero EMI. It provides DIP package for users. And this laser driver comes with a frequency synchronization, which allows using an external digital signal to synchronize the internal PWM output stage. This function can help eliminate frequency hopping interferences from other electronics when loading multiple laser drivers on the same PCB.

AC Input Laser Driver AAS30A4V2

Laser driver is designed for driving diode lasers. There are two types of laser drivers, DC laser drivers and AC laser drivers.AAS30A4V2 is one of AC laser drivers designed and newly released by ATI.
The AAS30A4V2 AC input laser driver is for driving diode lasers with up to 30A low noise current and high efficiency, ≥76%. The input voltage is wide, from 100VAC to 240VAC. The maximum output current is 30A, which can be set by an analog voltage of 0V to 2.5V, an external potentiometer, or an internal potentiometer, to between 0A and 30A.  This AC input laser driver comes with high stability low noise 2.5V reference voltage, which can be used to set the output current and maximum output voltage. This 2.5V reference can also be used as the voltage reference for external ADCs and DACs, which can be used for monitoring or setting the laser current and maximum output voltage.
