What's the ATLS1A212D Laser Driver Used for

  Since the laser was found in 1960, it has been becoming more and more popular in modern industry, communication, national defense and other fields. And in order to meet the need for driving laser diodes, our company (ATI) has designed and released a series of laser drivers, such as ATLSXA212, ATLSXA201D and so on. As shown in Figure 1, ATLS1A212D laser driver is a typical one of the ATLSXA212 series laser drivers. It has a maximum output current of 1A and also has a wide range of power supply voltage from 4.5V to16V.

  By using the ATLS1A212D laser driver, users can regulate and monitor the laser current and temperature. And if the temperature exceeds the limit, 120°C, the laser driver will close the output stage automatically and enter into Standby Mode. During normal operation, there is no need of heat sinks because it generates little amount of heat. Moreover, the driver generates low noise, but with high accuracy high stability.
