What is A Peltier Controller?

The Peltier controller is an electric module, which is designed to drive thermal electric coolers (TECs) by ATI. The Peltiercontroller is packaged in a metal enclosure to keep from the inferences between the controller and other electronics. And it has a compact size so that it is very convenient to use, carry and store. During operation, the controller can reach high efficiency, high stability and high reliability. Figure 1 is the physical photo of the Peltier controller.

There are various Peltier controllers in ATI, and all of them can be utilized to drive TECs, but they have different characteristics. So users can select what you need. By using a Peltier controller, users can set the desired temperature, the voltage across TECs and the compensation network.

The ATEC24V10A-D Peltier Controller with High Power

TheATEC24V10A-DPeltier controller is an electric module with high output voltage 24V and high output current 10A. This Peltier controller is used to drive high powerthermal electric coolers(TECs) to achieve high temperature stability.During operation, the Peltier controller features high efficiency (more than 98%) and high temperature stability (-0.01°C). Figure 1 is the physical photo of the ATEC24V10A-D Peltier controller.

Bu usingthis controller, users can set the set-point temperature and the output current limit. And the set-point temperature range can be set through 3 external resistors. The Peltier controller is packaged in a metal enclosure to prevent the interferences from other electronics.

The ATEC24V10A-D Peltier Controller

The ATEC24V10A-Dis an electric module, which is used to drive thermal electric coolers (TECs) with high temperature stability. The Peltier controller has a wide voltage range from 5V to 25V, and the voltage signal, the set-point temperature and the output current limit can be set. Besides DIP package, it also provides SMT package for users. As it has a compact size (see Figure 1), it is very convenient to use, carry and storage.

In order to prevent the interferences from other electronics, the Peltier controller is packaged in a six sided metal enclosure. There is a compensation network inside, and it can match thermal load characteristics to stabilize the temperature loop. The network can also beimplemented by using external components so that the network parameters can be set differently for differentthermal loads.

NTC Thermistor-ATH10K1R0

ATH10K1R0 is a glass encapsulated NTC thermistor. It can be widely used in temperature measurement and control system, where high temperature sensitivity, long term stability, and high temperature sensing are required.

Compared with traditional epoxy encapsulated NTC thermistors, ATH10K1R0 comes with smaller size (: φ1.0mm×1.4mm), quicker response time (4s in still air), better long term stability (<0.1°C/Y), and wider temperature range (-55°C to 250°C). The two leads of this thermistor is covered with high temperature plastic tubing. The ATH10K1R0 is sealed between the thermistor head and the coated leads, so it can work up to 250°C temperature and liquid resistant. This NTC thermistor is also free of lead and RoHS Compliant.
