A NTC thermistor can be used for electronic circuit temperature compensation in instrumentation such as current and flow monitors, gas analyzers, thermal conductivity analysis, and many other applications. When using the self-heating characteristics of a thermistor, it can be used to create an RC oscillator, for time delay, and for automatic gain control. It is also a widely accepted means of critical circuit protection.
The ATH100KR8 is a typical example of one of many the NTC thermistors offered by ATI.It is 0.8 ± 0.1mm longwith 63mm long leads, and it has a nominal resistance of 100K ± 1%@ 25°C.Since it is glass encapsulated, it provides improved long term stability and reliability as compared with epoxy encapsulated products.
Depending on your application needs, we also offer this product with both of the leads covered bya high temperature plastic sleeve, with and without a seal between this tubing and the thermistor body.
